Bum Marketing? Same old stuff...

Tired of building countless adsense sites (and in most cases, going about it the wrong way) people are now seeking new ideas and they're being offered up in the form of old ideas given a fresh lick of paint.

Exhibit A: The Bum Marketing Method (also known as the Workhorse method (also known as article marketing!))

Simply put, find low competition keywords or phrases, write an article around these phrases and place them on high traffic (or rather high PR) sites, stick a link to your site or an affiliated site at the bottom and hey presto, you have a new stream of traffic.

This is just article marketing. With The "Bum" method (see www.bummarketingmethod.com) you aim solely for affiliate links at the bottom of your articles. The point being that if you write 10 articles for the same affiliate product, you'll be sending enough traffic to make some sales and make it all worth your while.

The same goes for The Workhorse method mentioned in Affiliate Project X, although here the author recommends going for fairly high competition phrases and getting a bigger chunk of traffic (if only for a short while).

These methods do work, no doubt about it, but I can't help but think you're better off building your own review site and sending article powered traffic to that. Still, to start off with and get some cash in your pocket, these subtle twists on article marketing will work wonders. But they ain't new... ;)
