Is
this a genuine way to
make money with your
good old camera or just
another money making
scam dressed
up as a
new, innovative
method?
The
Camera
Dollars
system was
actually a great
surprise to
me.
I
never knew that it was
possible to make money
with your camera in
this way. Just ignore
the hypey looking sales
page because there's
the nugget of a good
idea in
here...
At
around 120 pages of
content, Camera Dollars
doesn't stint on the
detail. Author Brian
Moore has clearly done
his research
here.
The
first section of the
book deals with how to
become a great
photographer including
info about the right
equipment to use and
what kinds of pictures
you should be taking if
you want to make some
cash.
Even
if you are a
photographer this is a
useful part of the book
because it'll point you
in the right direction
for your subject
matter.
So
now we come to the meat
of the system and it's
here that I thought it
fall down. I've read
other guides such as
this and they simply
give you a number of
sites through which you
can submit your photos
to make a few dollars.
Big deal!
But
Camera
Dollars
goes
a step further and lays
down a method for you
to get more money for
your
efforts.
Not
only that it ventures
into the offline world
as well and comes up
with a host of
different ways that you
can make money with
your
photographs.
Now
I was reading this
purely out of curiosity
but I'm now convinced
that making money from
digital photography is
a very viable idea for
a business. It may be
competitive but I think
with the knowlegde
in this
book you'd
definitely have a
headstart
With
sections on
copyrighting your work,
photo-editing,
outputting your work
via print or CDs and
DVDs plus some
genuinely useful info
on making your
photgraphs
professional...Camera
Dollars is an
exhaustive course and
could see you heading
off on a photographic
journey while laughing
all the way to the
bank.
Its
certainly made me pick
up my camera for a
go...and that's saying
something!
