"Desperate Buyers Only
-
Overhyped Or The Real Deal?"

I've been marketing online
now for some time and I've got some of my own "niche" ebooks
that bring me in a nice income.
So you may say that I've got
the ebook selling thing "licked".
I get increasingly fed up with anyone who
comes along selling their "how to make an ebook" guide as if
it's they were the first to come up with the idea.
I mean, we've heard it all before
right?
Whenever a new guide comes along that
proclaims itself to be a revolutionary plan with a new way of
doing things I tend to hang my head and sigh "seen it all
before" - so it was with some trepidation that I purchased
Desperate Buyers Only.
So why did I purchase it, when I'm
already a know-it-all (or so my wife tells me)?
Well, because a certain IM guru who I
have the utmost respect for, recommended it to me - and it
takes a lot for Allen Says to recommend anything.
Seen It All Before?
My first impressions of the
book were of its size. Many ebooks these days are slim volumes
in which the author seems to think he/she can charge the earth
for a 20 page pamphlet of info.
Desperate Buyers Only
however comes in at over 90 pages of well written
info.
And yes, I was also
pleasantly surprised by how well written it was - a rarity in
Marketing ebooks at the moment.
The main selling point of
the book is that the author Alexis Dawes claims we should be
focusing on a certain target market a "desperate" buyer -
someone who is willing to get out their credit card simply
because they can't wait to solve their problem, whatever it may
be - and of course our product will do just that!
So far so good. I hadn't
always concentrated on selling to just these kinds of people -
but this idea seemed like a breath of fresh air. Of course
Alexis goes into more detail than I can give away
here.
A Cunning Plan
Particularly interesting are
the techniques she uses to write her sales letter.
A good sales letter is the
difference between selling hundreds, nay, thousands of your
product and none at all. Here Alexis gives us her "five
point fish hook" technique for writing
letters.
Combine all of these features
and your sales letter will lure people in by the dozens, their
credit cards will practically be thrown at their monitors such
is their eagerness to buy your product.
No, really - an excellent
sales letter can literally "control" your
customer and in this book we find out how to do this
successfully.
Desperate Buyers Only is a great ebook
and a breath of fresh air. If you follow this guide and you
still can't make money - then I suggest you give up on Internet
Marketing altogether - it just isn't for you!
However, there is a weakness in the book.
It's all very well having a sales letter and a great product
but what about getting people to see the damn thing?
We Need Visitors!
If there's one thing lacking
in this guide it's how to get people to your site. Sure she
gives some examples but I felt these were a little on the weak
side. You'll get a few visitors every day with her techniques
but not the avalanche that you need to really make the big
bucks!
And that's why I'm here to do you a
favour!
I'm going to tell you how to get 500
visitors per day within one month!
That's right.
