Can the daddy of SEO tools
still cut it in the Web 2.0

Callen is one of the web's
foremost minds on SEO as
well as being a great
marketer. His newsletter
is
excellent and his latest
tool Keyword Elite has been
a monstrous
success.
SEO
Elite could perhaps be
described as his
breakthrough product. Upon
its first release it gave
users the chance to climb
the rankings of the search
engines through a number of
crafty
techniques.
In
some ways SEO Elite was the
ultimate spy tool, the
ability to see who is
linking to who and to then
get in touch with the
owners of particular sites
all through the application
itself was
groundbreaking.
But Times
Are a
Changin'
As
always, things have changed
in the search engines and
SEO Elite was proving less
and less useful. Reciprocal
links are not as powerful
as they once were (although
reports of their demise
have been greatly
exaggerated!)
So
rather than leave this once
great app gathering dust
Callen has decided to
revamp it and release in in
this new Version 4. It's
been a long time coming but
has it been worth the
wait?
Unequivocally,
YES!
A lot
of the old features are
still present and correct,
but it's the new features
that really
impress.
My
favourite has to be
locating "authority" sites.
This tool is, in my humble
opinion, worth the price of
the package alone. Get
this...it automatically
picks out the biggest and
most authoritative sites in
any niche. Big deal, you
may say. What it then does
is filter out the sites
which are linking to these
larger sites. From there we
are able to see which sites
you should go after for
links so that you have the
same incoming links as the
"authority" site. Does that
make sense? Pretty hard to
explain so check out the
videos on the
homepage.
All in
all Mr Callen has revamped
a great product and brought
it bang up to date. But it
doesn't stop
there...
Very
soon Phase 4 will be
launched and SEO Elite will
then include an article
submitter built in! With
all the problems I've been
having with Article
Marketer recently, this is
very welcome
news.
If you
want better rankings, want
to beat your competition
and basically become and
SEO guru then SEO Elite is
a must have application. It
started to lose its way and
become outdated for a
little while but has now
bounced back in this
version 4 to regain its
crown.

my niche sites was recently
