Create and Make Money

I think I pointed out a few posts back that we're actually in the business here of selling stuff to people.

Now, that doesn't sound as glamorous as "butterfly marketing" or "Area 51" or whatever the latest guru-led product launch may be.

But when it comes down to it, we just sell stuff and it's not even stuff that people necessarily need.

They just want it and that's good enough for us, right?

I sell information products. I spent a lifetime learning traffic generation, list building, adwords, adsense etc. etc.

When it comes down to it all I really need is a squeeze page (to keep in touch with my customers) and a product sales page to sell my latest "how to…" guide.

It took a long while for this to become clear to me - but all the other stuff is just ephemera. It's stuff you can use to get more traffic, raise your profits etc.

…but you need the core. You need a product and you need a vehicle with which to sell the product.

Now, I feel like I'm hammering an extremely simple point here and you may be getting a little bored of my ramblings BUT…

…did you know you can create and sell anything, on any topic?

Listen, it helps if you have a passion for your subject, of course it does, but the beauty of the net is that you can outsource at will.

Get someone else to make the product. Hell, get someone else to write the sales page if you've got a bit of cash.

That's all you really need to start earning a great income. A squeeze page, a well written sales page and a report or ebook.

Important point: make the sales page entertaining, make it enjoyable to read as well as spurring the reader into the action of whipping out their credit card.
