So it's here. Google Assassin, the next release from the Day Job Killer and
Affiliate Project X stable.
This time it's not just a little ol' ebook - it's membership site time!
What is it with membership sites? A new one seems to spring up every day! Personally I'm a member of Three Way Links (review later) and Job Crusher and I can't ever see myself needing anything else.
I will have a snoop around Google Assassin though so expect a full review later. In the meantime, let's look at this impressive sales letter. Does it work for you?
First of all, I'm not too sure about the headline…
"How A Freak $3,456 Google Pay Day Puts You
30 Days From Automated Annihilation…"
…I think that could have been more arresting, what exactly is "Automated Annihilation"?
The letter then goes into the "problem" or "pain" aspect used by most successfull sales letters. Here it's the (supposed) ever widening gap between the haves and the have-nots in internet marketing.
Chris then goes on to show us that if we had his tools, we too would be able to compete with the big boys. How convenient!
Notice also how all the figures he gives out are exact numbers like $5,452. Using exact figures is much more convincing than writing $5000 or "a tone of cash". He does this all through the letter even when he (or his copywriter) writes "over $45,787". What, over? So it was $45,787.12 or something. You can't give an exact figure and then preface it with "over"!
Jeez this letter is LONG!
…in fact I'll come back to it in a little while
