Traffic Secrets 2.0 - Don't Buy It!
This isn't some reverse psychology to actually make you go out and buy it, don't worry.
Instead, I want you to realize that you don't need Traffic Secrets and it may even hinder your progress.
Let me explain…

…you already know how to get traffic. If not, here's how…
- Articles - write articles on low competition terms, submit them to EzineArticles and Buzzle. Place your resource box at the bottom with anchor text to your site.
- Web 2.0 - get other foks to bookmark pages of your site (preferably pages with great content). Get software to do it for you like at the Immediate Edge or get a group of buddies and all bookmarke each other's stuff (slowly…over time)
- Get reciprocal links from sites that are on a similar topic to yours
- Give articles to other sites in exchange for a link back to your site
- Pay for adwords ads
- Pay for adwords ads using the site placement tab and get your ad on highly trafficed sites in your niche (unbelieveably powerful!)
- Add more content to your pages and watch your rankings in the serps rise
- Just get a ton of links anyway you can (3 Way Links works well, at least for now…)
- Create and submit videos with your website name watermarked onto the footage
…so really, that's more than enough to be getting on with.
I'm sure Mr Reese's course will include many more ways of getting traffic.
But I guaramtee you one thing… there will be no magic bullet.
No single way to give your site a massive boost of targetted traffic instantly.
And anyway, all the methods will show up on forums before long!
If you want to buy it go ahead, it'll be great value, but ask yourself, do you really need it?

See in my books, dissing a product AND putting an affiliate link in, smacks of greed. In fact I would go as far as it being one of the signs of someone who doesn't give a shit about their audience because all you want is their money or their page impression.

Well, that's a bit harsh don't you think? I was hardly dissing the product, just pointing out that we should maybe think before we click the "buy" button.
I'm sure the product will be great but do you need it right now?

However,
is likely a very good product. The man knows his stuff, that's
for sure. Also, your Bonus is mighty inviting….
I've been inundated with BIG releases this past six months, so
I'll likely pass on it.
In any event, as you say, there's more than enough traffic methods
to keep me busy for a while.

Already bought it, but find your comments interesting. One thing you forgot to say is to post blog comments that cause controversy. Nothing better than controversy to get people interested.
Just ask Allison, she took the bait.
One interesting thing was the mail today from Frank Kern, he is giving away a 'gift' through Mr Reese's mail distribution of the product. Great idea to 'give away' 2 DVD's of advertisements!

Hehe, yes Allison did "take the bait" as you say, although I think she just read the title, saw my link and then commented without reading the post.
I actually said the course will be "great value" but yeah, you got me, the title was just to grab attention.
Frank Kern's promotion was indeed interesting, giving away DVDs whether or not you buy through his link…until you realize Frank and John Reese are best of buddies so not only is he helping out his pal he's also getting his brand into more people's homes than he would otherwise.
As for the DVDs, I agree it's all great self-promotion for Frank but the Core Influence stuff he's giving away is actually great content, if you can get your hands on the seminar it's well worth a look.
