Equipment Use, On-Track Damage & Responsibility

Karting involves real mechanical risk. During any booked Coaching & Support session, the driver/team remains responsible for their own kart, equipment, and any borrowed setup equipment used during the session or event.

If damage occurs on track, the driver/team is responsible for the damage regardless of fault or circumstances. This includes damage caused by contact, crashes, off-track incidents, curbs, another driver, unavoidable accidents, mechanical failure during use, or general racing incidents. This applies to both the driver’s own equipment and any borrowed performance/setup equipment provided through the AM29 Setup Equipment Access Package.

Normal use is included. Reasonable wear from proper use is not billed as damage. However, any borrowed setup equipment that is bent, broken, damaged, lost, heavily worn, or made unusable during the booked session or event will be billed at full retail replacement cost, including applicable taxes, shipping, and related replacement expenses.

The only exception is if damage is directly and clearly caused by improper installation or workmanship performed by The Complete Guide before the kart returns to the track. This is separate from normal on-track damage and would be reviewed based on the specific situation.

The kart must arrive in safe working order. Pre-existing damage, unresolved mechanical issues, general maintenance, replacement parts, tires, fuel, oil, and major repairs are not included.
